The two hour online Risk Assessment for Early Years course is designed in line with EYFS guidelines to help you understand how to carry out effective risk assessments in Early Years environments. Risk assessments play a vital role in protecting children and young people, and this course provides the essential knowledge and confidence to manage them safely.
By the end of the training, you’ll understand the purpose of risk assessments, know how to identify and evaluate potential hazards, and be able to explain and apply each step of the assessment process. All course content has been developed in accordance with the national Health and Safety regulations and the EYFS Statutory Framework.

Assessment and Certification
Throughout this online course, there will be a range of learning styles used with interactive quizzes, video, and audio features to help you gain the knowledge and understanding of risk assessments within an Early Years setting. You will be able to complete the course at your own pace, whilst testing your knowledge as you progress through the course content. This online course can be completed on any PC or mobile device, and you can log in and out of the course as often as you want to. There will be self-checks after each section, and at the end of the course, there will be a multiple-choice assessment and achieve over 70% to pass the course.
