The Level 2 Award in Activity First Aid is a 2-day course that gives people the knowledge and skills needed to treat a range of conditions that could occur in any form of activity such as eye injuries or poisoning. Upon completion of the course, individuals will be confident First Aiders ready to assist in emergency situations that range from life-threatening illnesses to minor injuries. The Level 2 Award in Activity First Aid course is a nationally recognised qualification and is a regulated course.
This course is designed for those who have a responsibility to provide First Aid in outdoor and activity-based environments and it is ideal for those in groups such as Scouts, and Guides. It is also ideal for those working in sports such as hiking and swimming.
During the course, there will be a range of learning styles incorporated to maximise your learning experience. There will be a multiple-choice examination at the end of the course to test your knowledge. Upon successful completion of the course, each delegate will have the knowledge, confidence, and certification to provide assistance in emergency situations such as choking or burns.
Refresher training is recommended every 3 years which will be a 2-day course to refresh and update your Activity First Aid knowledge.
