This is a 2-hour online Annual First Aid Refresher course which is designed to give First Aiders the chance to refresh their skills between completing their First Aid Course and requalifying three years later. A First Aider can complete this refresher course at any time over the three year certification period. Alternatively, it is suitable for anyone who is interested in First Aid and would like to refresh their First Aid skills. The First Aid Refresher course is strongly recommended by the HSE, as they state that First Aiders should undertake annual refresher First Aid training. Although this training is not mandatory, it will help First Aiders refresh their skills and keep up-to-date with any First Aid procedures- giving you the confidence to use your First aid skills when needed!

Who is the Annual First Aid Refresher course for?

You do not need to have any previous qualifications to complete this course as all the basic First Aid skills are covered during this course. This course is suitable for both individuals and businesses that want to refresh their First Aid knowledge and skills. So, if you are looking to refresh your First Aid skills and have an interest in First Aid this course would be ideal for you.

This course is also ideal for anybody who has completed an Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work, or the First Aid at Work Refresher and would like to refresh their First Aid knowledge during the valid 3 year certification period.

Assessment and Certification

Throughout this online course, there will be a range of learning styles used with interactive quizzes, video, and audio features to help refresh you on a range of topics such as CPR. You will be able to complete the course within your own pace, whilst testing your knowledge as you progress through the course content. This online course can be completed on any PC or mobile device. There will be self-checks after each section, and at the end of the course, there will be a multiple-choice assessment.

Upon successful completion, learners will be able to download their certificates to show that they have successfully completed and passed the course. As an annual First Aid course, the certificate is valid for 1 year. This course has been approved by the CPD Accreditation Group, and this course qualifies for 1 CPD point.
