The Blended Paediatric First Aid course is recognised by OFSTED - which makes it a perfect alternative to the two-day Paediatric First Aid course. If you opt for this option, it reduces any logistical issues that may arise when booking a First Aid course, as learners will substitute the first day of a Paediatric First Aid course with an online module meaning they are able to complete half of the course online before they enter the classroom. Blended learning gives learners a better opportunity to learn the theoretical knowledge needed to accompany a practical face-to-face training day which ensures learners are confident first aiders upon completion of the course. This course has been designed in line with EYFS. This course is split into two parts;
Part 1: This involves all learners completing an interactive learning module. This can be completed at any time before you attend the classroom.
Part 2: This is a one-day course where you will further learn and demonstrate all practical sections of the course.
The Blended Paediatric First Aid course is perfect for anybody who works within a Childcare Setting and requires to complete Paediatric First Aid Training that is recognised by OFSTED and is in line with the EYFS.
In a post-COVID-19 world, this type of Paediatric First Aid is becoming increasingly popular for Schools and Nurseries.
Once the course has been booked and payment has been received, Staffordshire First Aid Training will distribute all credentials and as a result, the online module can be completed at your own pace. The online course will have to be completed before you enter the classroom. Furthermore, there will be a range of methods used to demonstrate your knowledge after being taught throughout the First Aid course, this includes practical real-life scenario examples and questioning. The final examination will be multiple choice and open questions. Upon successful completion of this course, each delegate will have the knowledge, confidence, and certification to be a responsible First Aider in their workplace. This course is accredited by the First Aid Industry Body and is in line with the Health and Safety (First Aid) 1981 Regulations.
Your First Aid certificate will expire three years after the date of completion. However, for this course, annual refresher training is recommended by the HSE each year between the three years.
